I vow to help you love life, to always hold you with tenderness and to have the patience that love demands, to speak when words are needed and to share the silence when they are not and to live within the warmth of your heart and always call it home.

Goals for 2014

Last year I conquered 3 out of 5 goals, not bad! I started my Master's degree, stayed positive through my husband's deployment and helped our family become completely debt free! I'm pretty proud of all that during a crazy past year that we had. This year I'm putting an old favorite back on the list...

1. Weight Loss. I'm so tired of this stupid goal, but I care about my body, heart, health and life so I'm making it priority #1 this year. It WILL Happen This Year. There's no more time to wait. A deadline is looming and it's time.

2. Unconditionally support my husband. This year he's taking on quite an adventure all on his own. Law School. This might require us to make some tough decisions, even live apart for a while. No matter what, I want to fully support him and try to keep my wants/needs out of the picture. I can be selfish and needy at times, so that's why this made the list this year. This is his time, his opportunity to pursue his dream career. I don't want to be selfish and distract him or make things harder. He needs me and I'm happy to give it to him.

3. Apply to PA School. Now this is very dependent on the AF "allowing" me to apply of course, but before I get to that step I need to take one last college course, take the GRE and fit in some volunteer time. My goal is to accomplish all of this by October so if I have the opportunity to apply, I'll be ready.

4. RX a crossfit workout.

Those are the major things I want out of this next year! There are many things I want to continue to do like keep taking a million pictures of everything (even if it annoys the husband), paint, blogging (blogging doubled this year!) and eat the way we do. I'm sure more goals will pop up throughout the year, but this is a start!

Bring it on 2014!
