Our first family Thanksgiving in Oklahoma! It was a great week, but not exactly how we'd planned. We decided to spend it in Enid so that we could see my Dad and my husband's family, and we achieved half our goal! It's funny because we haven't seen family on TG day in like 4 years, and the tradition continued this year after my Dad had to call in sick. It's ok though, we made the best of it! We cooked, and my husband made a damn fine turkey!

The next day we celebrated with my in-laws, and ate some more! We all love watching the kiddos grow older and learn to play more together. They are so much fun to watch!

Then came my favorite tradition as a child, Enid Lights Up the Plains! It's always on the evening of black friday, and it kicks off the Christmas season. I love it, and I'm so happy to have got to share it with my little one. She loved the music, parade and horse carriage ride with her cousin Elise! Such great memories.
