I vow to help you love life, to always hold you with tenderness and to have the patience that love demands, to speak when words are needed and to share the silence when they are not and to live within the warmth of your heart and always call it home.

DOUBLE DIGITS!  Can she please slow down!?

This last month was pretty chill for us all.  We kept home and played!  As far as milestones this month, she started signing "more" when she wants more food.  I love it, her first sign!  She is also getting up on all fours but just rocks.  No crawling on her knees yet but we're so close!  She's crawling every where but she only uses her right leg and left arm, it's so funny.  She's transitioning from sitting to all fours pretty well and LOVES to stand.  She's not cruising yet and thinks it's funny to just let go when she's standing by the couch to trust fall into me.  (insert eye roll).  She says "Hi!" and "Dada" all the time but still no Mama yet!

She is still shacking up in Norah's room.  It's great when she sleeps through the night but when she wakes up in the middle of the night it stinks.  Luckily Norah goes back to sleep fast, but I can't wait until we all have our own space again.  She's down to just one nap a day for about 2-3 hours and mostly sleeps through the night!  She still nurses the palm of her hand when she gets sleepy.  It's still my utmost favorite thing she does.

We are still breastfeeding strong.  In the mornings it's all she wants when she first wakes up!  She nurses then around noon, in the evening and then before bedtime.  My first goal with each baby is 6 months, then one year so we are hopefully going to make it two more months at least.  She's been nursing with her leg up on my chest, I love it.  Since she didn't gain as much weight as we would have liked the last quarter we've been stepping it up on the fats this month.  We have been mixing purees with avocado oil, oatmeal with heavy whipping cream, eggs and avocado.  Fingers crossed it adds some pounds to our girl!

Now that Norah is back in school I have just Hazel and Scarlett at home two days a week.  They are playing really well together!  Scarlett doesn't get much one on one time with Hazel so it's awesome to see her blossom more into this big sister role.  She tolerates her snatching her glasses off her face, crawling over her to get toys and stealing her books.

I just love her smiles and "Hi" with her waves.  She's snuggly, SO happy, easy-going and honestly the easiest baby there ever was.  I love her awkward excitable crawls towards me, when she shakes her head no and how if I'm holding her she turns down Daddy every time.  I'm pretty sure I made perfection with her.

I've started planning her first birthday party already and I can't believe it.  I'm really looking forward to her FIRST Halloween and Thanksgiving at home (not in the hospital).  Life with these girls just gets better and better.

My favorite photos from this last month!
