I vow to help you love life, to always hold you with tenderness and to have the patience that love demands, to speak when words are needed and to share the silence when they are not and to live within the warmth of your heart and always call it home.

Hazel Faye: 11 Months

Weight/Length: Didn't measure

Diaper: Size 3's are getting tight!

Clothing: 6-12 or 9 months

Eating: Nursing 3-4 times a day and eating 4-5 solid meals

How is this the LAST month of possibly my LAST baby??  I'm emotional, excited, sad and just head over heels for this little lady.

This month was a great one besides everything else going on in the world.  We welcomed Fall with open arms and a visit to the pumpkin patch!  We took our first mini vacation to Bentonville AR and rented a little Air BnB.  Also had our first trip to Urgent Care unfortunately.

Arkansas was fun!  It was cold but we walked around downtown and even did a forest light night walk.  The kids did great and loved the change of scenery.

We visited the pumpkin patch with Nana and Pops, walked a corn maze and bought pumpkins.

Milestones!  She's on the go constantly!  She's up on all fours crawling everywhere.  She pulls to stand then cruises along furniture and bounces up and down!  She can lower herself back down in a squat position too so no getting stuck for this kid!  She claps, signs "more" and "all done" and waves hi/good bye.  We're pretty sure she says "hi" too.  She can transition now from crawling to sitting and vice versa.  She's progressing along so well!

AND she said " M A M A" for the first time!!

She is transitioning to food very well!  She self feeds really well but I still try to spoon feed her fatten foods to keep that weight increasing.  She nurses now 4-5 times a day and a little less each week.  We're starting to mix a little whole organic milk into her breast milk bottles to get her used to the taste.  I can't believe we've made it to almost a year of breastfeeding!

This girl FIALLY popped her first tooth through!  My kiddos teeth pretty late (8-11 months) so it was no surprise come 9 months and we hadn't seen any teeth yet.  My kids also don't let us know when they do.  We never get fevers, fussy or ear aches when they teeth.  A second one isn't far behind.  She loves to eat cheese, oatmeal, mashed potatoes, banana, strawberries, pancakes, eggs and peas.

This girl loves her sisters more and more.  Now that Norah is back in school I have Scarlett and Hazel home together two days a week, so they are playing together so much more than before.  Scarlett is learning to share, be patient and soft with Hazel.  Norah's new thing is to ask to hold Hazel while she's standing.  Hazel is heavy and a squirmer so we stay close.  I just love watching these three laugh, chase each other through the house screaming and reading together.  They are our joy.

We love her sweet and soft "Hi!" paired with a sweet little wave.  She is ALWAYS happy and smiling, so  much so that it's contagious.  She loves walks outside and being held.  She doesn't like long rides on the car seat or when she gets left out on yummy foods she can't have.  She is still waking up at least once at night, but it's hard to let her cry it out since she's bunking with Norah.  When we get moved into a new house hopefully we can fully break that habit if she hasn't done so before.  She still naps one long nap in the afternoon and is pretty easy to put to sleep.  She really makes it easy to love her.
