I vow to help you love life, to always hold you with tenderness and to have the patience that love demands, to speak when words are needed and to share the silence when they are not and to live within the warmth of your heart and always call it home.

Universal Studios

Along with our visit to Magic Kingdom, we also had time to hit Universal Studios. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and have been since 6th grade. Yes I was the girl who dragged her Dad to stand in line with her at Hastings at midnight for every single book release, devour it within 48 hours and obsess over the next book. When I heard there was a Harry Potter theme park, I knew I had to see it. Again, when you're only a 6 hour drive away, it's hard not to make a stop in.

When you purchase tickets for Universal Studios, they have two parks with two separate tickets. We chose the park with the HP park of course, Islands of Adventure. We heard they're building an additional HP add-on to the other park, so in the future you'll need to purchase both park tickets, so we'll be back eventually! Within this park we rode almost every ride we could get our hands on. Like I previously blogged, the end of Feb was a great time to visit US as well. The longest we waited for a ride here was 15 minutes, but many we just walked right up to and got on. I personally enjoyed this park a lot more than Disney World, mainly because of the more adult rides, they served beer in the park, and who doesn't love parks based off your favorite comics/books/movies? My husband and I also realized this was our first visit together to any type of theme park and first time on roller coasters together. We had a blast at this park together. My husband is a closet roller coaster junkie I found out, so he was thrilled with the ability to ride back-to-back. Our favorite parks were the Harry Potter portion and Marvel. We were really excited at first for Jurassic Park, but then realized most of the things offered were for children only...boo! Dr. Seuss was really cool, but again very child focused. Here are some pictures we managed to take throughout the day!

Now it's time for what we've mainly came to see...Hogsmeade and Hogwarts! We really felt like we were actually in her books with this park. We loved it here and it felt magical. We highly recommend going!

All aboard!

Hogsmeade

The butterbeer was delicious and alcohol-free!

Hogwarts Castle, take the ride in it! It's basically a tour through the castle, very fun!

Water Rides

The Hulk roller coaster

He's always loved Popeye

Again, we had a blast at this park as well. After this day was over, we were pretty parked out, and ready to get back home. We'd like to go back and hit the second park US has to offer, but another time!
