I vow to help you love life, to always hold you with tenderness and to have the patience that love demands, to speak when words are needed and to share the silence when they are not and to live within the warmth of your heart and always call it home.

Nana and Pops Visit Florida

The time has come for our last visitors while we're living in the warm state of Florida!  They really felt like too much time had passed since Christmas, so they insisted on coming down once more.  Babies change so quickly, so I'm really glad they could visit.

First we had dinner at our favorite place by the water, Uncle Ernie's.  Norah June was a little skeptical of the grandparents, but she didn't break down.  Yay!

Waiting on the grandparents!

The next day we really wanted to ride bikes on 30A.  If you've never heard of it, it's a 30 mile stretch of highway along the coast packed full of the most beautiful little beach towns, bike lanes, white sandy beaches and just heaven.  Norah has rode well in the past in the bike trailer, so we decided to take a stab at it!  Luckily Norah naps anywhere and is really happy as long as she's fed and not tired.  Rarely a fussy babe, so she's so easy to get out and do stuff with!  Once we got there I really liked the idea of the bike seat since she's finally big enough (just barely).  I prefer that so much over the trailer!

She's a fan!

Out like a light.

We rode 7.5 miles from Rosemary Beach to Seaside.  Norah said "Weeee", cooed and loved the improved view and wind in her face.  She fell asleep halfway through.  Finally we reached Seaside, FL.  My happiest place on earth.

Guac for lunch

You can't go to Seaside without strolling the infamous beach.  The weather was 70 degrees, sunny and no wind.  Perfection.

Afterwards we biked back while Norah caught another nap, and went for Norah's first froyo!  She was a huge fan.  I'm glad they went along with my craZy idea of biking 15 miles with a 9 month old!

The next day we decided to rest some what and keep at home.  We played, played and played!  Norah learned to squat down when she doesn't want to stand anymore.  She's super fast now when she crawls after us.  Nana also showed her how to cruise, walked along furniture while holding on.  Such a big girl!  This girl wooed her grandparents completely with her huge smiles, laughs and BIG personality.  She warmed up to them really quick and just melted their hearts all weekend.  She's showed off her vocals for them too!  Pops is convinced she says, "Hi!"

Silly girl!

We ran 2 miles with Nana!

The last day they kept her while I had to get back to the work grind.  They really enjoyed the full day with her.  She was the perfect babe for them.  She took all her bottles and went down easily for naps.

She really is such a joy.  I'm so glad someone else could experience her too.  Everyone agreed she's too much fun to play with, and I'm just so happy to see others love her as much as I do.  It's so special.  We did miss my husband/Daddy like crazy.  We couldn't go a few hours without wishing he were with us too.

Thank you for the long drive to come visit us for such a short time.  I know Norah June made it worth it beyond measure.  She's the most fun baby I've ever met, and we're so glad you could see her at her best!  We love you, only one more month until we're all in the same state!
